The Mental Health Funders Collaborative exists to improve the mental health of all young Georgians by strengthening the mental health workforce, tackling critical gaps in system reform efforts, and marshalling public and private resources to create a more comprehensive and whole-person-centered system.
About Us
The Mental Health Funders Collaborative (MHFC) brings together over 40 philanthropic leaders – local, regional, and national – committed to improving mental health outcomes for Georgia’s children and youth.
We began in 2016 as a learning community and have since evolved into a statewide funder collaborative that coordinates investments, supports advocacy, and fosters aligned action. Today, our pooled fund, housed at the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, fuels scalable, systems-focused strategies that expand access to timely, high-quality mental health care across Georgia.
